I imagine so. Travellers have large families.

Garner they'll need to leave this week to get there on time

Im about 2 hours drive away from where Fury lives, i cant stand the idiot and hope he gets turned inside out
Fair enough my friend. Think you will be disappointed though

Gotta give it to the old bastard, 91 and bright as a button -

Say what you want about Arum, but if I'm meant to reach that age, I'd like to be as sharp as him.
He spent decades in the sport of boxing, but one can tell that he spent them outside the ring.

Will this be the first time in history two white men will contend for the undisputed HW champion?

<23>
Fury won the lineal title from Wlad, Wlad was recognised as undisputed when he beat Chagaev, and there were a few Euro bros in between like Povetkin. Then of course the old timey fights.

Called it, though I think the Dec 23rd date is just to get people's attention and the real date will be end of January or early Feb. Now Usyk will be a year closer to 40 and Fury will make more money. Frank Warren knew exactly what he was doing when he sabotaged negotiations with all the rematch clause demands. Its just part of the game. @Seano called it too.

Hearn it’s delusional… trying 2 hard… cringe

no mean feat, i've noticed my bro is starting to lose his memory and he's only 53. My stepdad's memory has gotten worse every time I see him. I haven't seen him in a few years and I'm thinking he might be really losing it, he's 74(edit 77).

It certainly appears to be on the rise in people younger and younger. Hope your bro and step dad are ok.

well, humans being humans, someone always seems to try to slip in and take control when there's something at stake in those situations. I'm too good for that so I just stay away. My stepdad and anyone else have a constitutional right to be left alone, if that's what he wants. But my hunch tells me his family is isolating him. Either way, I can only do so much.

my bro is doing the same thing my stepdad does, when he doesn't remember something, he feigns like he does, which tells me he might at least suspect something is up.

This sucks. This takes so much anticipation and excitement out of the Ngannou fight.

I thought fury was awesome when I first started watching him. Now, he's figured out he can win fights by clinching and holding constantly and talking meaningless trash, it's really taken a lot of shine and excitement out of watching him.

The Ngannou fight will be a clinic in clinching and holding. Exactly the same MO as the last 3-4 fights. Just use his much larger and taller size to constantly grab the other person.

Man, this really sucks. Fury's team should have talked some sense in him and told him to just hold off on this announcement after the Ngannou fight's done or at least announce it at the fight! Man!!!

Somehow I forgot all about Wlad.

News flash, Fury vs Ngannou is a shit show. Merely a spectacle. Fury vs Usyk is a historical match-up that will crown an undisputed heavyweight champion. We've only waited a quarter century for it.

Doesn’t change anything. Fury could have made the fight with Usyk a long time ago if he was serious about it.

He committed to the fight with Ngannou. This is just sabotaging all of the excitement and anticipation with the Ngannou fight.

Can help explain it again if needed.

I agree that Fury could've made it a long time ago. In fact, they were supposed to fight last December so he stalled the Usyk fight for a year. Now that he has finally signed it's happening. He's still fighting Ngannou but that was never a serious match-up. Ngannou isn't a boxer. Only casuals and MMA fans are looking forward to it.

You lost me at the last sentence. Nah, everyone's looking forward to the fight. One of those days a MMA guy is gonna knock a top level boxer out. It's just a matter of time and the stars aligning right. Ngannou might show everyone how it's done. Maybe it's gonna be Volk. It's gonna happen eventually.

None of the boxing regs in this forum are looking forward to it. As it turns out not everyone is into sideshows.

Because Fury is going to do his best to clinch and hold his way to a boring victory every time he thinks he’s in trouble. Quote me on this and come back and say, “You were right.” After the fight goes exactly the way I’ve said it will.

If they fought like the champions did 20-30 years ago it would be an amazing brawl in which Ngannou has a genuine chance to knock Fury out.

It's a gross mismatch on paper. Even if it plays out differently, which nobody expects it to, that's what this fight is viewed as. Take a look at the odds. Ngannou only has a 12% chance of victory according to the bookies. Fury will box him up and then put him away after Ngannou gasses. He'll be dangerous up until the midway point. After that he'll be helpless and get smacked around like McGregor did against Mayweather.
