Usman would be a star if he had any KO power, instead he's a boring point fighter

Ladies and gentleman we have a SPLIT DECISION

Legit, the only person who was interesting in any kind of way on this card was Cyborg. You like her, hate her, whatever, but she's about the most consistent fighter since Fedor in his prime. Imagine what we'd have witnessed tonight without her.

Or don't. Apologies

Usman does leave his chin up and hands down pretty often when dodging punches and exiting the pocket could spell trouble against more competent strikers
It'll be interesting when he fights another good pressure striker who isn't terrified of this Nurmagomedov name Primus was game but he's always been horrible at pressure guys. Patricky was a great style to test him but dude was way too timid.
In the UFC I think Dan Hooker (If his TDD holds up) could cause a ton of issues but even in Bellator I'm thinking Shabliy will have the striking to punish these defensive issues.

Man, I just want the judges to totally fuck up the cards. That would make the Bellator shitshow complete.

As usual, bellator kills my buzz. Usman outclassed him, but what a remarkably safe performance by him. Can't blame him, though, but still......big meh for me.
I can blame him. He didn’t look at all interested in actually finishing the fight.

how this 5th round should have gone down:
from outside the cage you hear a woman screeching 'eeedddiiiieee.'
A spotlight hits the tunnel entrance and out comes running Eddie Alvarez. As he passes his wife she throws him a metal folding chair.
As he grabs the chair he leaps up the stairs sparta kicking the cage door in.
Assessing the shitty situation he rushes across the cage and begins to wail the chair on to Usman, debilitating him.
Upon realizing the situation Primus tries to push the limp body of Usman off of him, looking up to only see the silhouette of a folding chair coming down upon his face.
