Agreed with most of your points. If boxing is in shambles, please answer:
Why did Ngannou make more money in that one fight than in all his previous UFC fights combined?
It seems like any half decent UFC fighter wants to cross over into boxing (McGregor, even Khabib wanted to, etc). Something doesn't add up, does it?
Also, Fury did not get dog walked. Ngannou lost a close decision and it was a close fight.
But once again -- if boxing was in shambles, Ngannou would not be here and what Ngannou is doing is dream of any MMA fighter from your beloved UFC -- divorce Dana and actually have freedom and respect and make some money. So your claim is patently -- false.
If not -- please explain.
37 and he performs like he is 30 and in terms of his cardio, it looked like he has several years of ring experience, to understand how to manage his stamina that effectively. Francis is 37 and won on points in his first match against the lineal champ in boxing. Fucking amazing and the whole world will be watching his next fight. Usyk who? Nobody cares, I want to see a rematch.
Yes, forget everything else that was amazing about that performance, and take simply having that level of cardio at 270 lbs for TEN ROUNDS in your boxing debut at 37, is absolutely unthinkable.
how long did it take jones to bulk up, 3 years <45>Well, at least we can put to bed all those notions that Francis was ducking Jones to get his lights punched out for a quick cash grab
all time? i don't know, not too good. I don't even know if he'd rank above primo carnera after last night, a guy who was for about 50 years, the biggest and the worst of all the heavyweight champs. I'm done with fury, i'll say that much. I used to say he wasn't great but was good for the sport, well, he's not good for the sport anymore.
They weren't francis haters, they were people who just doubted him for good reason. I was one of them, but I hoped francis would pull it all off. I just had Zero faith he actually would. Most people are happy for francisWhere are all those Francis haters and ufc shills who kept saying Francis is gonna be exploited as a punching bag and a very bad businessman?
No fucking way AJ would ever sign, maybe Wilder has the balls but not AJI want Francis to KO Joshua next. KO AJ in Wembley in your second fight Francis, do it
Really so one of the judges was just retar-ded in your opinionI’m beyond exited for Francis, but folks often confuse “doing better than expected” with winning. There were 6 rounds in which Fury out-landed Francis. There was a round they tied for punches landed, you can coin flip who won that round. To put it into perspective, Francis only landed 7 or more punches in 3 rounds, while Fury did it in 6 rounds. Saying that Francis won definitively shows people don’t know what they’re watching in boxing.
Don't get lost in the details bro<45>the output was very low throughout the fight though and very slow paced
