What books are you reading?

Here’s a few I’m reading:

Life by Keith Richards. Rambling stories from the riff meister.
God’s Promises for Every Day by Thomas Nelson. Indexed to look up what to do if you’re feeling anxious, bored, angry, jealous etc.
Batman Year One by Frank Miller. Classic graphic novel.
Reggae Roots by Kevin O’Brian Chang & Wayne Chen. Origins of reggae music told by Jamaicans.

What are you reading?

Been wanting to start Janis Joplin's biography but I have been crazy busy with the house.

Hopefully soon though.

Yeah i've been crazy busy too. Returning to books on holiday plane flights & layovers. We both enjoy books on musical artists. Janis was one of a kind.

Fiction:

Zeno's Conscience by Italo Svevo
Spring Snow by Yukio Mishima

Non-fiction:

The Elon Musk biography by Walter Isaacson
The Art Thief by Michael Finkel
Poor Charlie's Almanac by Charlie Munger
Fortune's Formula by William Poundstone
Easy Money by Ben McKenzie

Cool. Someone gave me a book today called Tuesdays with Maury or something. It's in the other room and I'm too lazy to go look. Sounds interesting the way it was described as about dying or something. Can you tell i'm kinda wiped out from running around too much today?

My brother's latest novel Pure Cosmos Club just got named the number 1 book of the year by the Independent Book Review
That's awesome. Your bro must be a phenomenal writer. That's not some chump award either. Kudos. You are the co-author (to me haha!).

I've heard if that book, never read it though.

Books that I think a large %sherbooks mount rushmore.JPG.png of sherbros would love. true war reportage on a minute to minute level, a guy who joined in with soccer hooligans to understand their world, fantasy warfare with some of the absolutely best written characters, and a crazed psychedelic drug trip done by the creator of Gonzo journalism.

Just started The Dragonborn Chair. An older fantasy so I hope it holds up.

Completed Project Hail Mary - first non fiction book I've read where i feel smarter after reading it. Really enjoyable book - took me longer to read then i anticipated that was becuase of the heavy science and scientific explanations used throughout the book.

picked up a thriller called The Unwanted Guest by Shari lapena. Single location murder mystery - It looks like a quick and fun read hoping to finish it before the years end.

I do get to read the early drafts and give notes so I feel like I get 12% credit

I've read 3 of lapenas, enjoyed all 3 enough to keep getting another one. Haven't read the one you have yet
