Except that ppl who are capable of self reflection, or even reflection in general, probably never claimed Francis fumbled the bag. And the ppl who were shouting, for weeks, about how stupid he was and what a failure he'd be for fumbling the bag don't have the capacity for self reflection, or maybe reflection at all.

No not at all. Most of the cock riders were haters. Saying he was scared, he fumbled the bag, he ruined his career and he would be banished to forever being irrelevant.

A lot of people thought they knew more than Francis and his managers and now that they are eating pie it’s “I was being realistic”


I’m pretty sure Francis had a good idea that these fights could happen before he left the ufc.

Fans just need to learn to cchill out and wish a fighter the best when he does things that doesn’t match up with what the fans want. Instead a lot of fans just plan hate and disrespect a fighters choices when it’s not what they want

How much revenue does the event generate for big boxing matches like this? Unless this is just crazy Saudi spending I find it hard to believe they make any money when purses are this massive.

You were in a discussion about whether Dana was wrong not to re-sign Francis given his demands. Francis isn't even fighting for the promotion that did sign him because he instead keeps boxing so Dana was right from his perspective that Francis wasn't worth it.

It's not that hard, and both can be simultaneously true that Dana and Francis are both doing what's best for them.

No. And no. Numerous people on this site claimed Francis was dumb and most of 2023 pre Tyson fury said that no heavyweight was coming to fight him. It wouldn’t surprise me if he fights wilder next.

Bro you are moving the goal posts. People like yourself hated Francis for not signing with the ufc. Francis stated himself he wanted to box and signed with a promotion that allowed him.

Reasonable people were saying that it sucks that the ufc and Francis couldn’t agree to terms but wished him well and hopefully he could get the fights he wanted. Very few people on this site looked at that both the ufc and Francis had to do what’s best for themselves.

Unreasonable people spewed hate and called Francis dumb, said he fumbled the bag, said he was scared. Said he miscalculated his own worth and no major heavyweight boxer would fight him. Especially as 2023 went on without an opponent named.

It doesn't generate any profit. Not sure about the revenue. They were paying celebs to come to the event.
