I feel like Hunt got nervous he was caught bsing, his body language was all weird when Ariel gave him like the "for real?" response.

Maybe he got offered 50k in pride to throw a fight, no way he was offered 3-4 million to throw a pride fight lol.
 
Huge hunt fan here. Old markie boy’s brain has been reduced to scrambled eggs. I really hate to say it but he’s probably got a similar brain to Chris Benoit or Aaron Hernandez. I hope he stops taking punishment and just retires
 
I could believe he was offered,but dont think they would give him that much.

How many fighters in his position could afford to say no to that kind of money?

50k sounds totally within reason. A friend of mine judged a bunch of early prides events and had some stories about foreign fighters being paid to lose against Japanese fighters.
 
He probably was paid to take a dive. He was making like $750k a fight which was probably hush money. It kinda makes sense now

I think after the coleman one,they realized that no one would buy him beating anyone good.

If they wanted him to lose to anyone it would probably be Ogawa,but no way would they pay that much for that. 3 - 4 mil to take a dive?? its not worth it.

You pay that much to bring a guy in to put the butts in the seats. Ogawa didnt even get paid that much probably.

Mark is probably massaging those numbers, so to speak. That's too much money for one loss.

No one ever gonna pay that much for a dive. That much money means too many people know about it.
 
Mark Hunt also claimed he was stalked by a hooded shadow figure and goes on some of the most insane CTE rants I have ever heard in my life so yeah... I wouldn't take a word he says seriously. Guy will likely not make it to 2030 and his biggest legacy will be being cited as an example of why combat sports should be banned in future athletic commission hearings IMHO
