you mean a Disgraced National campus good job..Love it. Francis Ngannou is becoming bigger than than UFC.
Soon to be a household name, and a national campus name also.
What exactly did the UFC lose? They saved themselves millions of dollars, boxing is discredited when multiple UFC guys with 0-0 boxing records have now just shown up and given the best boxers tougher fights than guys who've been boxing their whole lives, and PFL got nothing. Why? He still lost. Francis made boat loads of money, way more than the UFC was offering. He won. It's already over. Dana got embarrassed because he said it wouldn't be done.

Do you think it would have been better for the UFC if MMA guys showed up and got starched in boxing, or is it better that someone else is losing tens of millions to show that MMA is superior, and their guys can just show up and be fine against the best boxing has to offer?
There was no "cut of the boxing money", the event took a huge loss. They could have made a cut of the boxing money (with 0 expense) and promoted their brand alongside francis.

Don't know where the "0 expense" is coming from. When Conor boxed Floyd, the UFC did put up quite a lot for their share of the promotion, and they made it back because the event did like $450 million in revenue. Fury/Ngannou didn't come anywhere near making back expenses, and the UFC didn't have to put up any of it and still got the promotion of yet another MMA guy taking on a top boxer and the boxer looking terrible.
Right, somebody was willing to lose a bunch of money and they weren't, so have at it. You're not missing out if someone is asking you to lose money and you say no.They lost their bid. They tried to retain him and couldn't. He got a better deal (which is clear as day right now). Dana tried to badmouth him on the way out too. That is what it means - not that difficult to understand.

Way to miss the point. How much money did Queensberry and Top Rank lose in that event? So much that Eddie Hearn and Matchroom were falling all over themselves trying to get in on it.Right, somebody was willing to lose a bunch of money and they weren't, so have at it. Well let's see, million $70 million in fighter purses, several milion more for a 2 hour rap concert and paying D list celebrities to watch, so negative for gate and about $900,000 in ppvs that's split with the ppv provider with around $100 million in purses and promotion. Yeah, shoot, they really missed out on that cash wagon.Way to miss the point. How much money did Queensberry and Top Rank lose in that event? Dana's pining to get in on the market too. Except he put together a card so weak that the Saudis sent him back to the drawing board. Too bad they don't have Ngannou. Then the Saudis would calling them instead of the other way around.
A bunch of Harvard dudes slapping each other on the back thinking they are "urban" now..
And how much of that did Queensberry and Top Rank pay? Or did they collect a massive site fee for putting on the fights?Well let's see, million $70 million in fighter purses, several milion more for a 2 hour rap concert and paying D list celebrities to watch, so negative for gate and about $900,000 in ppvs that's split with the ppv provider with around $100 million in purses and promotion. The promoter didn't promote? I guess that explains the preposterously low ppvs. Shit, how much did PFL make? And how much of that did Queensberry and Top Rank pay? Or did they collect a massive site fee for putting on the fights?
Do you not understand that Queensberry and Top Rank didn't put on the event? They supplied the boxers. It was pure profit for them. Just as it would have been for the UFC.
