Did the person claim to be Japanese, by any chance? Aoki is a relatively common Japanese name.I did too for a while. Believe its the first.
I never knew. I do remember looking up both and saw hot pics of Paula Aoki iirc. Not concrete but my conclusion back then.Did the person claim to be Japanese, by any chance? Aoki is a relatively common Japanese name.
Topic is fine but no basis in terms of stories written or basis on the claims. Guessing hereWhy was my thread wastelanded? There was genuine discussion going on despite the progressive screech squad trying to derail it.
I'm not sure if I should be flattered by that or not but I choose toHaha. I'm not far off. No wonder we get along. Figured you were younger than me by 10 or more years.
Haha. I remember Hart to Hart. I am old enough to remember that one. I wasnt quite old enough to be in love.... but I would be. That era of tv was one of the best. Loved all those shows. Late 70s - 80s detective tv shows was the golden age of tv imo. I will still watch them all.I'm not sure if I should be flattered by that or not but I choose to
Lemme put it this way. There was a period where I had a massive crush on Stephanie Powers.
Except for the big hair. I really dislike big hair. But for her and for Sigourney--"if someone asks you if you're a god, you say yes!"--Weaver, I make an exception.
Edit: I plainly had a preferred type back then, eh?
Oh, now you've gone and done it. I'm having a nostalgia-gasm thinking about all those shows. This was one of my "major" favorites,Haha. I remember Hart to Hart. I am old enough to remember that one. LOL not Kate and Allie haha. Cagney & Lacey likely. A man that lists all these great shows would not list Kate and Allie (Canadian understandable). I watched all of them. Fall Guy was every young guys dream. Stunt man investigator. Playing the theme in my head as we speak. I told my parents that one day I would own a truck just like that haha. Liked: Remington Steele, Miami Vice, Starsky and Hutch, Hunter, Rip Tide, Magnum PI, Hardcastle and McCormick you name it. All those were what I watched growing up. GOLDEN AGE bruh.Oh, now you've gone and done it. I'm having a nostalgia-gasm thinking about all those shows. This was one of my "major" favorites,
Of course, there was also Kate and Allie, which I adored, and Moonlighting, of which I saw only a little, and more's the pity. MASH, of course, was an all-time great. And who can fail to mention Happy Days>Laverne and Shirley>Mork and Mindy>Lenny & Squiggy (maybe not so much but Sha-Na-Na became fairly successful).
I could go on and on but I'll spare the young'uns in the thread.

Hahaha. We can stick to a location. Just before my time but loved the reruns. I mentioned previously. His personality sold the role. He was great in that. Did you watch obscure ones like Rip Tide?I repeat (elsewhere)
Dooooooooooooooooood,
I don't remember what this came on after but that's when I would change the channel. I was about 10 back then and it was too adult for me I guess.Hahaha. We can stick to a location. Back then we only had one tv and I had to watch what the parents wanted. I remember when we had the physical nob to turn and while I layed on the floor they would ask me to sit up and change it. Then when we got buttons I layed on the floor and pressed the numbers with my toes hahal. We had limited options.

I remember having an old knob tv but luckily my parents upgraded to a TV with a remote by about the time I was in the second grade.Back then we only had one tv and I had to watch what the parents wanted. It really wasn't even derailed all that much. I'm guessing they took issue with your OP, which was a bit hyperbolic and anecdotal, but don't look for any concrete reasoning why that one gets taken down, and a hundred Queen B threads were allowed to stay. Why was my thread wastelanded? This one escaped me. Those guys all look like the b-team from three different shows put onto one show to fulfill their contracts. I've forgotten more than I remember, but it's hard to believe we left out Cheers and Taxi--hello, Christopher Lloyd, hello, Andy Kaufman.Hahaha. We can stick to a location. When you're the youngest of 7, YOU are the remote control.Yeah, I guess we got stuck in the at in between stage of buttons. You lucked out. Otherwise you would be the remote. At least at my house haha
I was the middle of 3. I guess I was just the size and beta personality type my parents were looking for. This one escaped me.
