It's selection bias.
The general casual fans of a blood soaked combat sport like MMA are more likely to be conservative/reactionary, compared to the general population.
It's complicated overall, but I'll spare the details and just say it basically comes down to the differences in psychological makeup of conservatives and lefties or liberals.

Biden is the first president in history to stand on the picket line with workers on strike. His policy record during his presidency overwhelmingly has been far more pro-working class than that of Donald Trump.

I'm reminded of the last time we had a thread about liberals/conservatives and who was more masculine.
It started out with conservatives declaring of course they were more masculine... then ended with multiple right-wing posters lamenting their medically diagnosed low-testosterone levels and need/desire to go on testosterone replacement therapy lmao.
El Karlo (RIP) had a complete mental breakdown in it, declared no liberal in here who could do 5 pullups, and must have repeated that claim 40 times. IIRC it was @nicapica who posted a video of themselves doing a bunch of pullups haha. Ol' Karl got banned soon after.

Trump's tax cuts helped middle/working class people the most, including his energy and other economic policies that lower energy costs and kept inflation way down. Here it is as reported by two pretty mainstream and reputable sources, The Hill and WSJ, using official IRS data. The super wealthy already have a bunch of loopholes and whatnot to cover themselves.

There's actually a study and I'd love to see more then when Left leaning men start taking TRT therapy and get their testosterone levels raised they start leaning more to the right. But yes the vast majority of the time conservatives are more masculine.
Like I said earlier, perception. Let's make this simple. When given the chance, did the Trump administration weigh in in favor of fighters or the UFC when there was a labor dispute?
The UFC has traditionally appealed to a whiter, more affluent, and older fan base than boxing. Hence fandom leans more conservative sometimes. There are plenty of left wing boxers and fighters. Both sports traditionally recruit from more left-leaning populations (you'll notice boxing's talent pool reflect the latest generation of immigrants or the downtrodden for most of American history).
I imagine if you actually did a poll of fighter and fan political leanings, they would trend closer to 50/50 than the public banter indicates.

I doubt it would be anywhere near 50/50 and of course if You did polls from Fans of the WNBA and Pickleball more of them would lean left and favor Biden.
