That’s the thing - we have no way of knowing who is firing, but of course the default is IDF. and we know Hamas strengthens each time this happens……

This chant of "may your village burn down" has been popular for the last 5/6 years, I've been seeing it pop up regularly in Israeli ultra religious protests. But now we've seen pop singer sing it for the IDF so is there some porosity ?

I know everyone has a bias here, but some more than others, so maybe someone who knows about the Israeli society current direction can give me an realistic analysis.

I’m not particularly interested in using it as a talking point either. I know the Palestinians have it bad. I know it’s not a good argument to say well North Koreans have it worse. That doesn’t somehow diminish the suffering in Gaza.

I really just chimed in because the Koreas is just an interesting subject to me. In general I really do think the North Koreans probably have it worse than anyone else on the planet. It’s such an interesting juxtaposition when their neighbors in the South live in one of the nicest and most prosperous countries on Earth today.
