I have always said both sides want it drawn out as much as possible to launder money to the military industrial complex and then ukraines rebuilding once terms are agreed upon.

The longer it is drawn out, the more the MIC can destroy and the more to then rebuild.

Actually if Russia would have remembered gas and supplies on their way to Kiev this would a different story altogether. Taking Kiev would have been a game changer and maybe not all of UKR in a week but once Kiev fell it would have been matter of time for rest of country to slowly fall as well.

I am sure those reports were based on reports from an anonymous source within the pentagon and/or state department. Or from a retired general familiar with the situation.

I actually didnt believe that at all, as if they would go in for a major attack and not bring proper supplies however after seeing multiple reports from various sources it appeared to be true. ANother prob was the old/cheap tires on supply trucks which were failing. Another prob was that mission was kept such secret till last minute that not everything was prepared properly.

They aren’t going after a bunch of farmland they know the UN will tend to anyways to feed the starving around the world. Russia already has enough of that
