Because no one should be above reproach. There are valid criticisms against both Trump and Biden and for many left leaning pundits, they are quick to criticize Trump but shy away from doing so for Biden and some other Democrat politicians. Biden's age is a valid topic of discussion and criticism especially when he short circuits like Mitch McConnell did.

Has Biden short circuited the way McConnell has? I've seen him stutter and forget but nothing like that yet, maybe I missed it?

I wouldn't put Biden in Mitch's category, as Mitch clearly has something else going on. Biden is just old as dirt, and looks and sounds it. McConnell has something else wrong with him. Like a legit medical condition. I don't know what it is, but the guy shows up black and blue all the time, and literally freezes up due to...something. Biden is just an old grampa, who struggles with keeping up with conversation, and the day to day. Mitch is gonna die on TV one day. His mind might still be there, but his body has been at a half tap-out, for quite a while.

Mitch is also probably the worst elected official in the country, IMO.

cardio joe is busy running a country. now that the adults are back in charge he doesn't have time to go golfing every day or play pattycake with tucker. that kind of shit would interfere with his afternoon nap.

Respectfully that's a very selective interpretation of what's happening. When Biden short circuits some may say that's just him trying not to stutter and not age related. I am willing to look at both in a neutral way(despite being a Democrat and supporting Biden politically) and say both are visibly struggling. McConnell had a couple high profile episodes while Biden flounders any time he has to recall names/events/etc. Biden and McConnell are both 81 and both are quickly declining.... Neither one is a Jimmy Carter as far as health....

You know I'm not here to defend Biden's decline. He's clearly not all there. However, no, he has not ever frozen up in the way Mitch did, where the mind clearly left the body. Mitch is actually still pretty coherent, which made his "episodes" more concerning, like there's a serious underlying condition he's dealing with, and not just struggling with a foggy old man brain.

I think Biden is in need of the retirement home. Mitch is in need of medical attention.

Hmm, I had missed this was happening, don’t expect too much to come of it. I knew the rupublicans were trying to get the transcripts of Hur interviewing Biden, but now apparently Hur has been in contact with republicans and is testifying as a private citizen about his investigation today at 10pm est.

His opening statement here, doesn't seem too explosive or juicy, who knows though. Will be fun to see the democrat panic wrestle to minimize Biden willfully retaining documents. Dan Goldman and Ratskin will surely be doing mental gymnastics.
