America's Worst Chain Restaurants, Ranked

In my 20s, I dated an au pair from Brazil for a while. She had only been in the US for a couple of months, and for our first date I took her to a nicer non-chain Italian restaurant. I had taken other dates there and it always went over well. She was polite but I could tell she was unimpressed.

2nd date I asked her where she’d like to go and she immediately said Olive Garden. Cheap date no objections from me so I took her to OG. The whole time she’s happy like a kid at Disneyland, and just raving about how amazing it is the whole time. Got home and she F’d my brains out like I had just flown her to Rome or something.

I still get a little hard everytime I drive by an Olive Garden.
Sounds like this could have been made into an episode of 90 Day Fiance.

I took a fat bitch to olive garden and the male waiter convinced me he wanted to buy one of my motorcycles so I gave him a big tip. Lying sombitch.

Cracker Barrel is pretty good. I ordered my Thanksgiving meal the last two years from them. I like their breakfast and you also get like three sides with their lunch or dinners.
Yeh they're actually pretty awesome. It's not gourmet but it's a great value and the service is better than most fancy restaurants

Hooters should be number one by a mile

In 1987.

But somehow a few are still open, with, I would imagine, severely dated stuff inside.
Na, there’s one near me. I was there 2 years ago for one of my sons friends birthday parties. It’s basically the same set up as it was when I was a kid, but all the arcade games are newer and instead of tickets, the kids get a card that collects virtual tickets.

I can’t imagine willingly going to any of those places unless you have no other options.

I think the only one I went to in the past 10 years was Applebees to catch the last couple UFC fights on PPV. The crowd sucked and the apps I got gave me the hershey squirts.

Yup. My 5 year old wanted her birthday party there last year after some of her friends had theirs there. Standard kid stuff like carousel ride, carnival games, newish video games and modern stuff like video projector onto the floor for fruit ninja, etc. It's smaller than it used to be in the 80's and caters to a younger crowd now. Most kids 7+ wouldn't want to go there because it's mostly little kid stuff now.

Indeed it is. You're fortunate to have never witnessed the spectacle that is Golden Corral.

I was seated next to this very large (in size and numbers) family at a Golden Corral. Among them was this obese boy, that was shoveling food into his face. He was coughing here and there, most likely, from food getting caught in his throat.

Welp, I see this kid gagging. A few of people at the table panic. A woman (I assume it's his mother) gets up and waddles to the kid, gives him a few smacks on the back, and a chunk of meat (think it was the prime rib) plops on his plate. The woman, exclaims, "I told you!" The kids is sobbing for a bit, picked up the masticated piece of meat, and continues to eat it while boo-hooing.

A young pro fighter who used to train out of our gym used to swear by Olive Garden. He had a "Neverending Pasta Bowl" pass that they apparently don't offer anymore. He'd make weight for his fights at 170 then head to Olive Garden and spend like 4 hours downing plates of pasta lmao. Then he'd stuff as much pasta as he could into a tupperware, hide that in his jacket and take it back to his hotel room to eat later. He said he was 190 in the cage.

Where is Chile's? They suck worse then TGI Fridays.

this is why we kneel

Red Lobster was something to be experienced in the 80's. The Neptune Platter was epic.

Their wings were the worst I've ever had and that was the best thing on the menu.
I haven’t been to a hooters 20 years but I’d have a hard time believing their wings could be as bad as Buffalo Wild Wings.

We live in Washington and my inlaws snowbird every year in Arizona. We visited them for spring break last year and they were dying to take us to the Cracker Barrel since we don't have any close back home.

I had never been there before but there was a story around that time that a bunch of people were boycotting because they started selling Beyond Sausage and were accused of going woke. Thought it was pretty stupid but after walking in there it made perfect sense.

Buffalo Wild Wings is the worst on that list imo ...
Dennys is awesome never had a bad meal there.

I was gonna bring up The Elephant Bar but just looked it up and it closed for good a few years ago. By far the worst food I've ever had a chain restaurant.
