Media Demetrious Johnson Says Dana Lied About his Contract. Was told "We do Not Give PPV Points to Flyweight Guys"

It was a replacement main event dumbass, It was only billed as the main event like a month before the event. Mouse vs Cariaso Was never meant to be the main event of this card.

my whole argument is that Johnson never had the starpower to headline cards, HE should be co-maining on big cards like they did with Joanna, Nunes, Shevchenko, Moreno and figgy.

We know it's the main event that sells the event, that was NEVER originally designated as a main event. Even Moreno vs figgy 4 didn't headline a PPV card. probably the most anticipated flyweight fight in history. johnson was never utilized correctly by the UFC, all those headlines you named proved it, because if any of his fights should not have been PPVS it's those ones you listed. and most of those are really weak cards.
Don't bother. He's an idiot who brings everything back to the leprechaun.

Okay, so you agree no one wants to pay to watch DJ, glad we agree.

From the anti-trust information, it was nothing up to 200k buys, then $1 per sale between 200k and 400k, $2 between 400k and 600k and $2.50 for anything above 600k

Gotcha, but that still doesn't add up to flyweights get nothing tbf.
And how do they know what someone bought it for?

Probably my all time fave finish in the UFC.

That or when I thought Maia legit killed Rick story :D

Nothing against DJ. Great fighter.

But everyone knows midget fights don't sell. At least not in North America.

Antonio Barrera vs Morales sold a ton.
The fact that a giant portion of MMA fans don't like the smaller weight classes is really telling of their lack of care about skill sir.

Just because someone is big doesn't mean they're a better fighter tbf.
Makes you wonder what people are watching for if its not skill.

Joe B and Cejudo were good wins. Dodson was okay. Horiguchi was always been overrated. Torres was past his prime. McCall whooped his ass the first time and was robbed of a sudden death round.

He's the 125 GOAT but 125 is mostly shit

Thats boxing in the frigging 90s and an outlier. Times have changed.

I'm also an enjoyer of midget fights but sadly, I'm in the minority. The facts are that most people have no interest in those types of fights. They don't move the needle in terms of PPVs.

The UFC did promote DJ. UFC dedicated an entire season of TUF to promote DJ. No one cared. UFC promoted DJs fights. No one cared.
No one cared about TUF by that point. They didn't promote him very well, he was and is a very exciting fighter to watch.

Danas treatment of MM was already shameful but this makes it slightly worse than it already was. Because he said publically MM had PPV points many times during his gaslighting rants back in the day.

The UFC promoted 125 in the beginning. MM? Not so much. 125 was created for Joe B and MM was a cinderella story who morphed into MMA jesus.

They put his best fights on free tv for a few years and put his shitty matchups on PPV. When MM finally got good matchups on PPV for UFC 186 and UFC 191 they didn't put a second title fight on the card. 191 was okay but UFC 186 was basically a free card you had to pay for. There was certainly enthusiasm for 125 in the beginning from the UFC but they were never sold on MM.

People are watching for skill, paired with a prerequisite of size. At a certain point, nobody cares how skilled you are if youre the size of a 6th grader and smaller than most women. This is a sport about finding out who the baddest motherfucker is. And nobody at 125lbs is remotely that. You seem very proud of the fact you have terrible taste in entertainment.
