Gonna be funny watching him desperately try to promise that he'll cut it when election season rolls around...
If he doesn't drop out, it's gonna get ugly. His party knows that they will be tied to this wholly unpopular shit, once he loses. He's burning them all down, and they know it.
Yup, I am pretty pessimistic.
The long term issue is we compete with the US, not compliment the US like Mex does so we are currently missing out on the reindusterilization of NA. Peter Zeihan makes this case very well.
Plus the house of cards of our immigration policy is calling apart with as many as 1/3 of new Canadians leaving.
Add to this the decreasing productivity vs. the US over the last 20 years.
it's like an extra buck on a 100 dollars worth of gas. You dorks don't get up in arms when oil companies jack prices.

And we are still adding to that debt which is inflationary. New $15B for housing announced today. That article paints a much rosier picture than actuality. A slight increase above forecast hardly negates the long term outlook. Highest debt to income per capita in the G7, way below average in next gen tech sectors, lowest productivity in a long while. Our saving grace as of right now is a strong us economy and a weak cdn dollar.

Some might, but the NDP is viewed as a joke by most. Singh is complete clown, and people see right through his bullshit. He only aligned with the Liberals to run out the clock on his tenure. He'll be gone when they lose again in the general, and he knows it. Without their desperate coalition, both would've been out by now. Most, even if they're Liberal, will not vote for the NDP. We're not as "ride or die" up here with our ideologies, as the US is.I wouldn't be so sure. The libs will all just vote NDP. They will never admit their policies don't work.
Been real for a while. Don't you know that taxes make the Earth cool? It's science."Carbon tax"? This shit is real?
Canada's biggest swing on global climate change is to sell our cleaner resources to countries burning coal. They pay and carbon emissions are reduced on a huge scale.I mean, we just outsource our pollution to them. If we made it we'd have to deal with the pollution.
But in saying that carbon taxes are horseshit.
Where are you at? It went up 3.5 cents where I'm atIt's like an extra $10 a tank. Gas went from $1.30 to $1.50 overnight. On a 50L tank, that's $10.
