Opinion Jimmy Kimmel declares US Cities are “filthy and disgusting” after a recent trip to Japan

U.S. cities are pretty filthy in parts. But so is a lot of Europe.

And there are also substantial homeless encampments in parts of cities like Tokyo too. Maybe without the levels of drug addiction. Its part of nearly all cities around the world.

The joke described all of America, which includes red areas, as dirtier than Japan. No point does it specify cities. There are plenty of shit holes in rural areas.

You got triggered by a late night joke you don’t comprehend on the most basic level lol.

It’s almost like you could use the money to help with infrastructure and to give people jobs cleaning and things of the sort. I don’t know if you’ve heard but money can buy things.

It's also a municipal issue, doubt low ranked cities for litter and trash such as San Fran, Detriot and LA are not taxing their residents enough. Japan cities literally has no garbage cans, people carry their trash; they have it ingrained in thier culture. Cleanliness of a city is purely dependent on the population of the city.

Japan is clean, because it's a homogeneous society who all are taught and follow the same rules from birth. One of those rules is not to be a slob.

Huh? I never said anything about job numbers, but he does have good numbers doesn’t mean more people can’t work. Or that money be spent on other things so people take more pride in their country.

It's not racist. When you have people born and bread in the country, they're gonna know and follow the rules of that country more than a guy who showed up yesterday, with vastly different cultural norms. I'm sorry if that hurts your feelings, but it's simply true. If Japan just started importing the third world into their nation, it would look a LOT different in a very short amount of time.

I don’t necessarily disagree with that but also when the highest paid aren’t that from from the average paid, the gap that’s smaller in between them means life is more relatable between the two.
But either more resources we have to invest in this country the better.

It doesn’t hurt my feelings it’s just not accurate , people aren’t coming to America and trashing it. Not like you’d know that since you don’t even live here. Please post a source that immigrants are why the streets are dirty.
