Finding it wasn’t easy because no matter what you type in search, you get blacks killed by police. If I could find the data, I would certainly post it. It doesn’t mean it’s not out there, it just means the search hits in certain words-police, black, killed, etc.
Edit: found some.

“
- As to race, blacks were disproportionately represented in Stone's study; while comprising less than 13% of our population, blacks constituted 26% of cop killers in 2014.”
instead. So I just goofed around with a really quick and dirty experiment. I did a search of police shot by suspect and tried to do every third article as to be somewhat random. I then looked for evidence of the race of the shooter. If I could find it, I counted it-if I could not, I went to the very next article. This took me about 15 mins.
This is just a random sample and does not account for media bias or one story being bigger news than another. My findings weren’t exactly shocking, but here they are:
Out of ten articles, 16 total officers killed, two firefighters, one court employee, and a paramedic. So, 20 first responders dead in ten incidents. The areas ranged from Memphis, Louisiana, Washington state, Minnesota, oakland, Philly, Austin. There were three double slaying and three triple slayings. I had to search 21 articles to get the data I needed.
Of the shooters, 8/10 were black. One Hispanic, one white. The officers were 12/16 white, 4 black, court officer was black, all firefighters/paramedic white. Most calls were domestics or erratic subjects, a few car chases, and some robberies/car jackings. I did not count multiple assailants-but if I had, all were black. I only counted one shooter. All male suspects and one female
Accomplice.
here’s a source debunking the “blacks are 3x more likely to be killed by police” bullshit

This quick and dirty experiment of yours did nothing to address the statement that a cop is more likely to be killed by a black person than vice versa
I did an even simpler experiment, 2022: a total of 60 police in all of US were killed
Thats same year around 1100 people were killed by police...
