7-1 odds Holm Decisions Kayla

I'm gonna sprinkle this. Harrison looked like a different human at the weigh in compared to what she looked like at 155. That HAS to have an effect on her performance. Couple that with the only fight where she couldn't just bully and take her outsized opponent down at will (Pacheco 3) she lost. Holm's age is a huge concern, but she might just pull this off.
 
I thought it was interesting that Holly actually looking bigger than Kayla. Granted that Kayla is still hours after a weight cut, tomorrow might look totally different and could have 30lbs on her.

Kayla coming down a heap in weight so we don't know how it'll affect her. Holm has no power, but is easily the best fighter Kayla has ever faced by a huge margin.

Only issue is that Holly is old and slows a lot by 1.5 rounds now. Prime Holly would murk Kayla everywhere, even in the clinch. Clinch grappling has always been Holly's best weapon, not her striking. She's still very good at it even at this age.

If you're not grapplefucking and finishing girls like Larissa and short notice Ladd in PFL, then you probably aren't doing it against even the washed, old version of Holly.

I just threw 5 bucks on her at +340. I'm not super confident but figured it's a good dog bet. I have a few parlays going as well so hopefully it's a good card.
 
I just think 42 is old to fight at the top. Unless it's males HW. Simple categorization. But the cut is the X factor
 
odds make it worth it.. its definitely within the realm of possibility, although the more likely scenario is Kayla dec.
 
With Harrison being an olympic Judoka like Ronda, how fucking funny would it be if Holm pulls a Rousey 2.0 and headkicks her into the next fucking dimension and then rides off into the sunset?

Harrison actually goes for singles and doubles. Her and Ronda both have a Judo background but they don't fight the same.

I had a lunch meeting at a casino restaurant today. I checked out the sports book on my way out and put $20 on Holm Submitting her. If she submits her I get $2200. Also put another 20 on her winning by KO which will get me $200. Still think Kayla likely taps Holm, but why not throw a flyer out.
