Not sure what any of that has to do with Romero Whittaker. But thanks?

Romero lost the first fight against Whittaker and "nearly" won the second fight. Then he went and lost to a guy a lot of people thought he would flatline.

No you are not alone in it. Opinions were mixed. However media scores are released right after the fights before the accurate fight stats are released. Most of the media had it scored a draw, some for Whittaker, some for Romero. I agree that it was a close fight however to be the champ you have to beat the champ and Romero didn't do enough in either fight.

Most did NOT have it a draw. Don't be dishonest brotha

Meh maybe.

But Costa is just better.
He definitely was better, was focused and brought it to Yoel, who did clown like an idiot way too much, he for some reason thought he was winning that fight

No one ever accused him of being smart

He lost because MMA judging is bullshit.

Moving forward should not be the defining factor of who wins.

Romero won rounds 2 and 3.

Shit judges.
Nah you’re just salty because you thought Costa was a hypejob and now he’s the official NattyGoat

Stay mad

I'm not "salty" but thanks for showing me the kind of person you are.

romero will always be limited in a way because he can barely do a 15 minute fight without gassing, he has to pace himself. you'll never be champ, and if u do get the belt u wont be champ for long with piss poor cardio like that. gotta be able to compete every round of the fight and stay active, not take rounds off and expect to explode and finish the fight when the time comes

He’s right. Romero thought he could lay back and lose two rounds and then finish a gassed costa in the third.

He just didn’t expect Costa to have an elite chin

Once he realize Costa had a iron chin and good pressure, he knew that he wasn't going to win.

Of course he said that. He doesn't wanna fight Romero again. I wouldn't either though
He already permanently damaged Yoel's eye in their 2nd fight. He doesn't want to damage the other eye now.

According to statistics, Romero landed more significant strikes and more total strikes, but certainly judges could not process detailed statistics by their brains without technical support.
2 of 3 sherdog judges had it for Romero. I did too, but no cry of robbery. Close fight.

He's got a good point.

I'm frustrated with Yoel at this point. He's too nonchalant. He never puts in the effort to string together 5 great minutes at least even though he's got all the skill, athleticism and talent in the world. Pretty disappointing.
