Media Justin Gaethje Opens Up About Max Holloway Fight at UFC 300 (With Cliffs).

Justin is one of the few fighter that calls it the way it is and always has. Mad respect for him in a sport full of excuses and unrealistic outlooks just to keep their ego up for the challenge of fighting.

Is jon jones vs Alex Pereira the biggest fight to make besides conor fighting?

It has to be right up there at the top when you remove Conor from the situation. Though I think Jones probably takes it to Alex fairly easy. Outside of Alex being able to keep Jones at range its all good for Jones everywhere else the fight could go. With Conor I think the Max vs Conor fight...

So when is this Heavyweight title situation gonna be resolved?

There definitely seems to be some power play going on behind the scenes. No doubt Jones side is heavily demanding the fight with Stipe first and foremost or I'll just retire shit. Common sense would say the UFC would've loved to just say Tom vs Jones 3rd quarter this year and move the...

    Paul Hughes signs with PFL

I thought the UFC actually signed Doumbe and then some visa issue or illness issue and then let him go. No doubt Doumbe would be good addition for the UFC if they were focusing in France or Europe more so than they are. Doumbe holds a higher value in France for PFL needs oppose to the UFC...

If you ask me Diaz did him a favor. Take the choke out over getting your face bashed in and KO cold on the concrete.

Does UFC Have the Top Fighter in Each Weight Class?

Nemkov is not beating Alex, no way. Alex would just pick him apart on the feet.
  8. skylolow

Wins against lower weight classes are less impressive.

Most fighters and trainers will tell you its harder to go down than up. You have the weight cut to deal with and usually speed to deal with.

    Paul Hughes signs with PFL

Pretty much what I expected. Low UFC offer that if he got into details probably would've taking x, x, and x to happen to get to where the PFL was starting out at. Basically shows the UFC had little interest for whatever reason.

    Paul Hughes signs with PFL

Hard to say without knowing the facts behind it all. We have no ideal how much interest the UFC had and if they did what kind of offer they laid out or what Hughes people where asking. It seems like orgs like the PFL, Strikeforce, KSW, Bellator, etc over the years have no problem guaranteeing...

What are Your Thoughts on the BMF?

I think everyone knows it on the corny side/gimmicky. But it seems to get the UFC to move on just matching up two greats for the fun of it and if that takes a made up belt to do it, fine.

What are Your Thoughts on the BMF?

No you need like a belt covering two weight classes plus, so like 4 total BMF titles. Max can't go fight some larger 170ers and forget about fighting a 185er. Seems like having a BMF title is the only way to get the UFC to throw caution to the wind and just do a fun damn match up. So if that...

Have you changed your opinion about the BMF title?

If that is what it takes for the UFC to just throw two tops guys in the cage and usually from different weight classes just for the fun of it.....................I'm all for it. Not sure why they have always been so against that thought without the BMF title.

What are Your Thoughts on the BMF?

I don't think we need one for every weight class. But might be a cool thing to have one for 125 to 135, 145 to 155, 170 to 185, and 205 to 265 or something like that.

How is Alex able to dominate at 36 after a long hard career?

Plenty of Kick boxers fight into their 40's and are still very good historically. So I won't expect Alex to really slow down any over the next few years. He also isn't really a speed/agile fighter and that is the first to go.

    Conor's next 5 fights....

5 fights???????????????????? I think he wins he'll push for a title shot at 170. He drops the fight he will push for a Max BMF match up. Honestly, I'd like see the later.
