Lol, what a dumb logic. His first six fights were in regional promotions and his first 4 UFC opponents were barely UFC level themselves. Ever since he started fighting higher ranked guys, he’s been losing almost half of his fights
Yet George Foreman was the HW champ at 46 and Floyd was the best in the world till his 40’s.
I don’t think boxing is harder for the body, it’s probably the same as MMA, just affecting different parts of the body.
Mark Hunt? Lol. In what he’s good at? Losing? The dude has a 13-14-1 record.
Mo Smith? You must be kidding me. 14-17, lol.
The only thing that’s laughable is comparing those losers to Poatan. None of them come even close to him, not even CroCop or Overeem. They never were champions, while...
They have 3 common opponents. DC beat both Mir and Hendo, while Nog lost to both of them. The way you disregard the facts and think of fictional fights to make a point is ridiculous.
Also, DC would murder CroCop. DC is much better on the ground than Fedor.
Rumble had good wrestling background...
Not true. Nog was fighting at the highest level from around 2001 to 2011 or 2013 the very least. So about 10-12 years.
DC fought at an elite level from 2011 till 2020. So 9 years.
Their time at the top was actually very similar. Nog had more wins, but a huge chunk of them were cans and nowhere...
...belt, basically becoming the #1 contender. Since then he has lost to Ngannou and Jones, 2 champs and beat #3 ranked Tuivasa and #8 ranked Spivac. So there’s no reason for him to really go down in the rankings.
Oh, and by the way even Volkov was ranked #5 when Gane beat him, so just f*ck off
