Elections 2022 MT's, The GOP & Next 'Brown Menace' + the new bogeyman 'Trans'

You’re trolling too hard, homer
Trolling with FACT.

Surely you won't argue that it was 'Mexican rapists', 'Caravan terrorists', 'BLM moving into white suburbs' and now 'CRT coming for your kids +LGBTQ+ horrors', that are the core campaign planks.

I mean the only argument you can counter with is that below that 'tax cuts for the rich' are the true goal and all the other stuff is how they distract you to sneak that through but that is not an argument that they are not using those planks.

Just look upthread as no one is really denying this is the GOP strategy and trying to offer a counter of a real platform the GOP has run on as they know it is factually correct.

I can't wait for the trans trend to blow over and go away.

Republican leaders can't go to voters and tell them they want to support the extremely rich and the corporate world and harm you, then ask for their vote. That would be honest, at least, but it's not the most expedient strategy. So instead we get this silly culture war stuff. It really doesn't matter how ham-fisted it is - the war on Christmas, Pepe The Rape Skunk getting cancelled - it almost all works. The Republican base is not made up of very discerning people.

It all boils down to hegemony.

Trying to stop the self destructive insanity of the left is as good a platform to run on as any.

Saying they're just creating a Boogeyman to rile up a base is like claiming pit bulls are harmless family dogs, pay no mind to the countless children's faces that they've chewed off.

It’s going to be diminishing returns on any hate based platform. Trans visibility is really prevalent on social media platforms, but that’s about it. Within that group you’ve got broader support than opposition for trans rights.

The people most likely to be swayed by anti Trans messaging aren’t as exposed to the reality of trans people as they are to the reality of racial diversity.

There will be a religious right, anti lgbt candidate in 2024, whether it’s pence or somebody else, I just doubt that will be the impact platform point for a nationwide election.

You really think you can boil something as complex as a political strategy down into something so basic.

That’s like saying the democrats only political strategy has been to bring in illegals for votes. It is one of many of their strategies. Same goes for republicans trying to appeal to racists.

No one here can deny that the GOP is basically devoid of any actually ideas on how to govern and thus basically only runs on whipping up hate against 'Others'.

The main 'hate' they try to focus is hate against some coming 'Brown Menace' that white people need to fear and vote for Republicans to save them from.

2016 General Election - FEAR THE MEXICANS and stop the Brown Menace, the Mexican rapists bringing crime by elect Trump and the GOP to protect you by building wall. Largely forgotten immediately after the election.

2018 MT's - it was FEAR THE CARAVANS, and stop the Brown Menace from coming in by electing the GOP. Largely forgotten immediately after the election.

2020 GE - FEAR ANTIFA, the Brown Menace people amongst you who want to move into your suburbs. Trump and GOP would stop them.

2022 MT's - FEAR CRT, the Brown Menace coming for your kids in school. The GOP will stop them.

However the use of the Brown Menace threat has only got the GOP so far as the hate they can whip up along those lines has shown limits. So for 2022 MT's the GOP is adding in a new group to hate. The 'trans' and to a smaller degree all LGBTQ+.

This can be the catch all thread were as we get closer to the MT's and the GOP ramps up the hate, we can cite and track it.

You can also register how much you support, or not, the hate based campaigns and party now, and how effective you think it will be?

except the industrialist is the one letting the foreigner in and wont uphold the country's own laws. this picture never made sense.

Ya accept is all fact.

The Brown Menace is the core of every election cycle since Trump entered politics and they are simply doubling down by adding the LGBTQ+ Menace to the CRT, Brown Menace for 2022.

Mitch McConnell has already said he won't be putting forth any election planks prior to the midterms that the GOP can point at and say 'we are for this'. The GOP is fine going thru on the Brown Menace and LBBTQ menace threats for this election.
