According to updated information, the suspect has been identified. He turned out to be Nadyrkhan Kadyrkhanov from Korkmaskala, he is 18 years old. Local journalists shared that the murder could have been motivated by revenge. It turned out that a month ago Mutaev and his friends beat Kadyrkhanov, mocked him and doused him with brilliant green.

It's a shame and I agree completely. There is a terrible disconnection somewhere and the perception of life's value is atrocious. Never escalate anything unless you have to defend a loved one or yourself and you know there is no recourse (imo).
Course we know what Bullying will push folks to and here we are.

It just furthers the idea that it is ALWAYS best to avoid altercations whenever possible, especially with random people. We usually have very little idea what any particular person is willing and able to do, and it is foolish to believe that everyone will behave logically. The things that some people will do merely out of a perceived sense of 'disrespect' are astounding (never mind if you have some kind of previous altercation with them, as appears to have been the case here).

It's not that common for people in those regions to use guns. I'm pretty sure it only happened in this case because the killer had no chance in a fistfight.

This is why you have to teach kids who are beasts at martial arts to only practice it in training or in true self defence/defending others type situations.

I've also read the victim cauterized the killer-to-be with hot metal and put off cigarettes on him. Some wicked shit. But it's very rare in this culture to behave that way. Abusing the weak isn't the thing there. The killer must have done some crappy stuff prior to that.
