Bellator 223 London Mousasi vs Lovato Jr.

I kind of see the main event as a middleweight version of Rory MacDonald vs Neiman Gracie. Mousasi has only been submitted by prime Jacare, prime Fedor and Akihiro Gono of all people a million years ago. A price of -450 is pricey compared to the gift line we got on Rory last weekend but I really think Moose wins this, maybe by late stoppage or decision. I bet it to win 1 unit, and will add more if the price gets better.

Mousasi never fought Fedor in MMA.

He was submitted by Petras Markevicius when he was 19, about a year and a half before he was subbed by Gono.

I don't understand the comparison to MacDonald vs. Gracie. Gracie has way better striking and Mousasi is far more dangerous than MacDonald even from a skills perspective. That being said, I probably cap Mousasi around -500 here, so meh, not a lot of value at the present line.

Lots of Bellator Odds

Lol at Chalmers still being a massive favourite over anyone vaguely skilled. Took 1u at +400.

Also on Lovato for a unit at the same price. Always been a bit of Mousasi skeptic, the guy is just too happy to cruise or fight at his opponents level and Lovatos grappling is too legit to justify the line being that wide.

Wonder if we will even get props for this event? There's one in particular I'm really, really curious about.

Quite a dearth of odds for a pretty stacked event.

Man, the dogshit national bookie of my country just released lines for all of the fights on this card. The betting limits are usually in the four figures, but I just dont have the time to tape all of these relatively unknown dudes...

Anyone care to share any insight on whether there's any potential good spots on the undercard?

Feel like a fade of old man Manhoef is warranted here?He looked all of his 43yrs at the weight ins.
Kauppinen might eat some leg kicks early but he has decent hands and likes to throw with power on the counter.Melvins chin and gas tank could be huge issues for him here.
2u on Kauppinen.

So lame that we have almost no odds other than three fights nor totals on the U.S. facing sportsbooks.

The main card on DAZN is airing via tape delay?! How fucking gay. Is it possible to watch live in the US?

Watching Bellator on a phone is terrible, I'm watching Glory instead.
