Bellator MMA: Bellator 302 event in January 2024 is the last event?

Can someone explain why James Gallagher is a dog against Gonzalez? I know he is not new Conor, but his opponent doesn't look impressive with 10-6 record. Is it because he hasn't fought in almost 2 years?
1) Gonzalez looked good against Pico. Despite losing he held his own in that fight
2) Gallagher moving up to 145. This is whole different ball game.
3) Gallagher's cardio has been suspect in his past few fights. Mix pushed him so hard that Gallagher threw up after the fight.

Gallagher line moving. 3 days ago he was like +110. Now he is -120.

Mowry at dog odds doesn't seem bad. While he did get controlled a lot in his last one, he did show off how dangerous he is on top and I could see him finishing Moldavsky.

O2.5 for the Hill/Kasumov fight is at evens, seems wrong considering that while Josh might be washed, he's not someone that is easy to get out of there and isn't much of a finisher either.

Any value on Weber Almeida at +390 against Brennan or is his ground game that bad?

His ground game is that bad. If Brennan fucks around on the feet a bit too long Weber could catch him with something, but on the mat it's a done deal.

Bellator 298 Main Event Prediction

Logan Storley (14-2) Vs Brennan Ward (17-6)

This upcoming bout holds significant importance, as the victor is likely to position themselves for a title shot in the near future.

A common adage in the world of combat sports is that your only as good as your last fight.

After a hiatus of five years due to personal challenges, Brennan Ward has made a triumphant return to the arena, securing three consecutive victories, all achieved through knockouts.

Likewise, Logan Storley has been on an impressive streak, besting opponents left and right, with the exception of Yaroslav Amosov, against whom he faced defeat twice.

In terms of skills, Storley possesses a distinct advantage in wrestling, while Ward excels in striking.

It seems unlikely that Storley will manage to bring about Ward's defeat via stoppage, granting Ward a full five rounds to potentially inflict significant damage or achieve a knockout victory.

The odds for this match are notably wide, prompting me to take a gamble on the underdog.

Pick: Brennan Ward ML (+270)

I know Logan has never gotten a sub but he came pretty close to getting one against Amosov the first time around if memory serves, might be worth a play.

Ward's only gone the distance once, and he's gotten finished in each of his losses, so I'd be very surprised if he doesn't end up in a bad spot at some point in a 5 rounder. Already have u4.5 for that very reason.

Ekaterina Shakalova is supposed to be a hot prospect, up against the lowest ranked Bellator FW (#7 out of 7). She's only 5'2" and coming up from bantamweight, so that's a bit of a concern. Put a small bet on her (-151). Dayana Silva is dreadful.

Brennan Ward better get Storley out of there in the first 2 or else he will be gassed and look like a punching bag for the last 3 rounds. You're better off betting Brennan Ward ITD if you want to bet on him because he's not winning a decision.

Played Justine Kish. I think Avsgarova is shit tbh.
You can play Kish at dog odds because it's WMMA, and random stuff always happen when women fight. That being said, Avsaragova is better than Kish in every area of MMA, and she's bigger and stronger.

Speaking of shit, Kish is the only one in this fight who has actually shit her pants in the middle of a fight. So there's that.

It might not be pretty, but Avsaragova should win this fight more often than not. Her wrestling, boxing, strength, and size should be enough to nullify whatever mediocre stuff Kish attempts to do.

Boomshakalakalova is a grappler with good takedowns, Silva is a kickboxer with weak TDD, any such matchup with odds above -200 in WMMA (or MMA in general TBH) is automatically worth at least a midsize bet IMO.

Definitely safer than Avsaragova at the same odds (last win was a robbery, struggled to a split dec over a can not long before that, too busy posing like a model to bother making weight (or train ?))

Weird fight.

Kish didn't land much but still landed more, and Avsaragova didn't throw much at all.

After her surgery, Avsaragova has missed weight twice in a row and has looked worse in both fights, and she doesn't even wrestle anymore, which used to be a main strength of hers. She looked way worse today than in her last fight, which is baffling.

That's WMMA for you.

anyone know what countries we can VPN to watch the main card on YouTube?

Didn't expect Outlaw to outclass Mamedov like that.
