Figured this would make for a good place for this thread. I enjoy going to local Casinos for pay per views with a few friends and watching the fights. Most of my betting is done through mobile sportsbooks, but it's always fun to put some cash in person on the line.

I'll end up being in Vegas over a Saturday when there's a UFC PPV. Which casino would you all recommend going to to watch and in person bet on the fights? I'm thinking MGM grand just because of the name, but wondering if there's others out there with better atmosphere than that. Don't care much for casinos in regards to table games or slots, just the sportsbook area and viewing.

If it's a big fight then Circa does a great job. You can get a table for you and your friends for a not-unreasonable amount. The viewing area is phenomenal, and the pricing is better than on-strip(though not by much).

On-strip MGM is probably the best just because they know how to do big events there.

If you want to go further out, for example if the wife/girlfriend is along, Red Rock used to have a pretty awesome setup. Not sure if they still do since they sold the UFC. It's probably been a decade since I went out there.

No Vegas casinos will ever show a ppv

I live in Vegas and a Vegas casino will have to pay millions to show a ppv you will never find a casino that shows it. Buffalo wild wings will usually show them free of charge. But they don't allow pre seating so get there an hour in advance and idk if you place all your bets at once or if you do it like fight by fight but if you don't do them all at once then if recommend getting a MGM sports betting app

They don't?

No sir I'm assuming lol and if the prelims are on ESPN+ no casinos have that either and that's a fact so your best option and I know it might sound corny is go to buffalo wild wings with your CPU or phone and stream the fights on ESPN+ that way and wait for the ppv to start

Don't quote me on this but buffalo wild wings the first ppv after the shutdown had ESPN+ I am not sure if they do anymore. And if it's not a big ppv buffalo wild wings won't be showing it

Now that I think about it, when I watched at Red Rock they owned the UFC, when I watched at MGM properties, the fights were also on MGM properties. Circa fights weren't PPV, they were the ESPN cards.

Go with the advice from the guy who lives there!

Casinos in Las Vegas do show UFC pay-per-view events, but you will be expected to pay for a seat at any of the casinos that do show the PPV.

For example, Circa shows the PPV events on the 3rd floor in a private room, while The D shows the PPV in the same area they show the Fight Night events, except that The D puts a black curtain around that area when there's a PPV and blocks your view (it used to be wide open, so people didn't need to pay).

If you play poker, some poker rooms will have UFC pay-per-view events on for free while you're playing. For example, the Aria does this.

Good to know. Thanks. I don’t mind a moderate cover. Is there a list around of which casinos do show them?

I do play a little poker but doubt I could find a table in Vegas at my price range.

Hmm I didn't know they showed them my fault but I'm telling u before u plan going somewhere call first to see if they are showing it so u don't wase ur time and money

Saphire Gentlemans Club! Sounds fun at first glance but I can't imagine much worse than a strip club full of UFC bros.

Ha ha looking around and wondering which wannabe thinks he's gonna impress a stripper by showing how tough he is...no thanks.

I absolutely hate strip clubs I wouldn't go to one if someone paid my entry into it who in there right mind would go and blow 100 or 200$ or whatever the hell it might be for some stripper to dance on you no thanks

Gonna be honest, I didn't used to mind them for bachelor parties or whatever but have probably only been to a half dozen or so in my life. They're actually kinda depressing. Esp because of the creepy dudes that are there alone nursing a beer and sitting up front. Acting like the strippers are their friends...yikes. And now I have a daughter so I'm kinda like...whatever the circumstances that IS actually someone's kid up there.

IDK I guess I don't care that much but yeah there's a hell of a lot better places to spend time and money.

Yep. That was always my view too when I was younger. But man I have buddies that just love those places. I don't really get it. To each their own I guess.
