Police across America killed a record 1,329 people in 2023, and Black people were nearly three times more likely to be slain than whites, according to the Mapping Police Violence project.

It’s the most deaths at the hands of police since the project began collecting data in 2013, when 1,079 people were killed, a chart on its website shows.

Would really have to look at it situationally imo. Someone that fights the cops, uses weapons etc.

If anyone is saying blacks are not likely to be discriminated against by cops (especially in high intensity situations) they aren’t being accurate. Is it their opinion due to ill intents and lack of sympathy towards the population group or they are just oblivious/mentally handicapped.

The study, the stats, the methodology? You can question all those. But it’s a studying just trying to quantify a universally accepted fact.
