As badly as Disney has been fucking up recently, ya think other giant studios like WB would be foaming at the mouth to steal their audience by putting out quality entertainment.

But nope, never underestimate Warner Bros ability to seize every opportunity to shoot themselves in the dick.

I was wondering about this actually and it just doesn't make sense. There is no way they don't understand this is a horrid business move so why are they doing it?

I'm not even stating a position or my personal opinion on the matter. What I am saying though is that this will invariably end up badly sales wise yet they continue to proceed. Why do these studios engage in these projects?

Do people realize Superman is just a dude from Krypton? Clark Kent is specifically white. There are many other supermen. This is no different than Miles Morales taking the role of Spiderman.
