News "Bloody Elbow" Was Sold and Their Entire Staff Was Laid Off

This is why the wayback machines work is so goddamm important. Don't know if they managed to archive BE a lot of sites have found a way to stop them but if they managed you can still read the articles.

When this society falls whatever comes next really need a seperate legal system to protect historical sources. Cause the idea that such a large treasure trust of historical sources can be stolen from future generations because some filthy capitalist bought the website is disturbing. Purchasing things comes with an obligation to care about their upkeep.

Trolling so hard, your marks are fans. Bravo, my friend ,you're good at this shit!

This is going to severely impact what we get to learn about MMA. Bellator and One financial reports? Bloody Elbow. UFC anti-trust suit? Bloody Elbow. Which fighter is kissing the boots of Russian warlords or oligarchs? Bloody Elbow. Why is the UFC so obsessed with visiting some states and countries but avoid others? Bloody Elbow. Why is the UFC obsessed with the Apex? Bloody Elbow.

Now questions such as these will go unanswered.

EDIT: Or as this nerd said.

I hope when that guy says "15 years" of work deleted, he's still got it saved, or whatever bits he wanted.

That would suck, though.
He wrote that 25 year anniversary article on the Just Bleed Guy...

Why would they vandalise their own shit like that?

More like Bloody Anus now I'm betting...

Sack off the staff. Create fictional names / people and pump out junk articles written by AI for clicks.

Honestly... that wouldn't be a bad business model in the short term.

Pick up undervalued assets or brands with following but underperforming financially from lager media organizations looking to offload them. Cut every imaginable cost. Close the office, replace the staff with an AI that converts press releases and other people's work into "articles" and try to milk every dollar possible out of it before the audience realizes it's gone to shit.

Yeah sensational for business. Dark and extremely sad for humanity.
