Point 1. IMO Richard Schaefer betrayed his hero and boss Oscar De La Hoya And Golden Boy Promotions which was #1 boxing promotion in the US at the time. Why is only a guess but the evidence suggests that Oscar De La Hoya somehow crossed Daniel Kinahan (maybe refused him unlike Top Rank boxing). Schaefer took the fighters who were loyal to him from Golden Boy Promotions (GBP never recovered and later Oscar began begging people/Dana to buy GBP) & created Ringstar Sports which he gave up on quickly betraying the fighters who were loyal to him sold them to David Haye. Richard Schaefer was gifted with Probellum got MTK Global fighters the stable included the likes of Nonito Donaire, Lee McGregor, Donnie Nietes, Troy Williamson, Dina Thorslund, Muhammad Waseem, O’Shaquie Foster, Will Cawley, Mark Dickinson and Pat and Luke McCormack. And IBO world lightweight champion and Olympic gold medallist, Estelle Mossely. Though Schaefer claimed his plans for Probellum was to work with third world countries and find new fighters a plan which a drug cartel leader would love (as new drug pipelines he was always looking for). 2. Wasserman Boxing Wasserman Inc. bought "Team Sauerland" (Kalle & Nisse Sauerland) from Germany and brought it to the UK. So lately they have stated they need steady money coming in like Endeavor's UFC so they will go back to buying sports promotions. So their first purchase back was CRIT bicycle racing which after the purchase a cease order happened about someone claiming the idea of CRIT been stolen. Meanwhile Wasserman boxing has fallen on decline as the Sauerlands have gotten involved with forming this new weird promotion with KSI, Misfits Boxing. Causing another bump in the road for steady income for Wasserman.

Both Wasserman and Anthem Sports & Entertainment seem to be hoping this doesn't blow up in their faces.

Boxing and combat sports for pros isn't big $ earning option in continental europe...
You really need some very good " tickets sellers " like Maske etc to maintain stuff.
In the same Germany pro boxing never ever will reach Bundesliga popularity level etc realities....
For pro KB only Netherlands does have enough scene...
In germany more is tendency that am kbers are turning into pro boxers...cos at least more $ might be earned.

U.S and U.K scenes are 2 main $ income from live gates generators in world ( from pro boxing ).

I doubt Bob Arum has any regrets as both him and Don King were into boxing during much criminal times.
Bob and Dan look like best buds..
