Boxing Discussion VIII

Brandon Figueroa @ -380 seems like good parlay material. His opponent Julio Ceja is a good style matchup, likes a phone booth fight just like Brandon. Brandon is also the bigger strong guy.

Callum Smith vs John Ryder...

Smith wins by KO in 1-6 (7/5) or 7-12 (7/5)? What do you all think? I think it most likely goes past 6 rounds.

KO in 1-6 would not suprise me at all. Ryder gonna try to crowd Smith & get blasted. I'll have to tape it though.

Seeing talk of Yoon being worth a bet over Davies at +225. Undecided on it myself but no way im taking Davies as such a large fav so probably worth looking into.

Rene Alvarado (+550) vs Andrew Cancio $400.00 for $2,200.00

Should have bet Davies. Awful effort

Whats your thinking here Jim? Odds are quite wide but think Cancio takes it regardless
I haven't had time to do a lot of research on this myself but I recall Cancio's two bouts with Machado mostly. I'm mainly tailing someone else who thinks Cancio looks old, has poor skin, and was losing the first fight with Alvarado until he won it via cut KO stoppage and cold easily lose this one as a part-time fighter.

Another longshot play: John Ryder (+1750) vs Callum Smith $100.00 for $1,750.00

playing Ryder live, hope he can get a late KO.

What are you guys betting on Wilder vs Ortiz?

If anyone has a stream for Wilder/Ortiz they can DM me I’d be super grateful. GL tonight fellas

They were never going to give him a decision though, boxing is fucked

This is why I've never invested the time to seriously tape, cap, and bet on boxing. I might determine some fighter is massively undervalued, but if the judges are all going to give it to his heavily favored/hyped opponent anyways, what's the point? I'm going to lose money, anyways.
