Ali constantly sounds like an idiot...but I agree with Barreto that Khabib could win the WW title, especially looking at who that would have meant beating between now and when he stepped away. Today, it would be a greater challenge.

I'm not saying he would clearly win these fights, never mind dominate the way he did at LW...but anyone who doesn't believe Khabib could beat the likes of Usman, Colby, Leon, Masvidal, and Burns (all of the champs and title challengers over the past four years) is kidding themselves, IMHO. Today, Shavkat looms large...

Sadly, we will never know what WW Kabib could have looked like, or even how much better his LW career might have been, thanks to the somewhat early exit.
