Newbro here, been watching Cody only post Cruz fight. Wanted to ask what level Cody's TD defense at and has it ever been tested? Would Figgy be able to single leg and sub/hold and gnp him?

If memory serves me correct, wasn't he a California State champ in wrestling? He doesn't use it often, but I've never seen him get grapple f*cked that I can remember.

Cody was Ohio HS champ, while Mr. Simpson was multiple times D1 division wrestler, all-american and all the good staff. I think Gaedhje is far superior wrestler, but still Khabib showed there are levels. Also in Gaedhje situation it could be said that he wasn't tested much either, besides perhaps Chandler that gave a couple of tries.
