the Chinese people have experienced a humungous increase in wealth, increased quality of life, personal opportunities & power, and their country is about to become the world's leading power;
while the USA and its closely aligned allies are carrying out what for all intents and purposes is a genocide on their own founding stocks, wages & QoL stagnant or declining for decades.

we even have someone calling it a 'mass murderer complaining about a shoplifter'. Which country has spent decades spreading carnage and mayhem across an entire cultural region again? China is a pussycat when it comes to 'global evil' compared to Great Satan USA...

Don't take this as a defense of Communism, but the CCP is Communist in name only. They are a Han supremacist fascist regime.

Unfortunately, that's what they're calling the West out for. And the West has almost no moral high ground to left to defend.
China's at an advantage. They've never been quite so self-righteous in claiming the moral high ground. And they've rarely, if ever, gone beyond their borders to absolutely decimate foreign nations (even spilling the damage over into a continent of allies).

I still side with the West. But you're almost at the point where you might as well be lecturing a mirror.
As it stands right now, there's a more objective argument to be made for you as the "bad guys".

No, they're communist in actuality as well. They just recognise capitalism as the primary vehicle for enabling and empowering communism, and they appreciate how to navigate contemporary Western ineptitude in foresight, long-term planning, and goal-setting.

Philosophically, you guys might as well still be in caves by comparison.

The CCP has said their form of government is "Socialism with Chinese Characteristics" .

The CCP - post Deng's reforms - allowed free enterprise. They have the highest number of billionaires and millionaires after the US. People can own property and start a for profit business. Now very recently Xi has been clamping down on some very rich Chinese, but they haven't confiscated all private property and turned into Soviet Union 2.0.

It seems like the right time for China to be more aggressive to the US. First the US had a clown president that caused the world to laugh at them and that pushed its allies away, and now there's one that has beginning dementia and is getting strongly criticized in his first year. If the current (or the vice president) doesn't sit another term it will mean that the clown comes back. China is smelling blood and while they will definitely be throwing massive stones in their glass house it's not exactly hard to find cases of US military crimes.
 
What about Taliban executing surrendering troops? On video; this year….?
 
when someone like china says something like this and you have a shitload of people from all over agreeing with them, it's quite the kick in the nuts.
