AB, SO Many don't get the LEGAL difference between "Assault" & "Battery".

Assault requires ZERO Physical Touching.

NO Contact is required to charge, and ultimately be convicted of, "Assault".

Could the offender's "words" have a reasonable person scared ?​

If Yes, that person can be found GUILTY of "Assault" without ever physically touching them.

Battery occurs from the simple act of TOUCHING someone.​
