That weird stuff they did in training had somekind of purpose. They made diego vulnerable. And maybe diego needed that shit after long pro fighting career. People respect toughness, but maybe its not enough to carry that aura so long as diego did. Diego talk about himself in third person.

Sometimes old fighters change their training system because its clear that younger guys are harder every year. Sometimes their lifehack is fucked up.
