Talent wise he’s definitely champ material, but his resume doesn’t earn it, it’s kinda like Khabib years ago, all the fighters knew how good he was but not enough fans did so no one would fight him except for guys who didn’t have any pull

I’m not sure of your definition of casual but It’s the casual watcher that is making PPV numbers huge. The “hardcore” fan community is pretty small in reality. If this last PPV did 1.8 million buys it was due to the Conor casuals buying it mostly Not hardcore old school fans. A lot of these PPVs do less than 500K buys.

Casual fans make UFC rich, hardcore fans keep them in business
