Danyelle Wolf got a gold medal in the novice event in June 2016, and she beat 3 opponents by points (this makes me think her 5'11 size might have came into play, instead of skills). I am trying to find more information about this event, but it's difficult, as it's not listed on the official IBJJF website.

Wolf hasn't competed in any major BJJ events since then.

If you have anymore info on what a novice event is, please let me know. It sounds like something below a white belt level, because there are white belt events in the main IBJJF world tournaments and local tournaments.

----------

According to a Reddit post, novice is essentially a white belt. They didn't want white belts calling themselves world champions, thus the switch from white belt to novice at the IBJJF worlds.
Okay, I found more information.

Danyelle Wolf competed in the Orange County (OC) Super Championships, which is a different event from the IBJJF Worlds event, from what I know.

So, she's not a world champion, she just won 1st place in a beginners tournament in a regional BJJ event. She also didn't submit anyone in that tournament.

I'm buying the Wolf tickets

That's kinda my thoughts too. This is WMMA so I'm more inclined to believe a woman with regional boxing experience might actually have a decent chance to win. I also feel like she might be set up to get the W here. If the odds were better on the other girl, I might play that but as I've mentioned before, I'm TERRIBLE at DWTNCS and lost over $100 across a few months so I stopped betting this altogether. Good luck gentleman.

I like kuppe here, citing Lombardos fight with daukaus as an example
I want to bet Kuppe for dog odds, but Lombardo's last win was against a tall pure BJJ guy, which is what Kuppe is.

Nice first leg driscoll is complete.

Have nothing on this wolf fight but her juice makes no sense.

Based on yanni's endorsement, I have just bet Tennant itd at +385.

Wasn´t sure if that was Ronda striking or Wolf in this Wolf promo...horrible striking technique from the looks of it.

I would bet so big on tennant if she was a wrestler. Not interested in stand up shit-fest.

Yea but they spent very little time on the mat

Can’t wait to see this world class amateur

right now I played kuppe itd and Lombardo dec both above +300

We're going to hear stuff like:

• Danyelle Wolf is a high level athlete / high level boxer.
• She's massive/big for the weight class.
• She is a three-time boxing champion.
• She was a three-sport athlete.
• She's a Golden Gloves champ.

What we won't hear:
• Danyelle Wolf is 37-years-old.
• She lost her last two boxing matches.
• She's 27-14 in professional boxing.
• She has no professional MMA experience.

And when she loses, we'll hear how it was a big upset. Then, Tennant will go on to get owned in the UFC and we'll likely get a decent line on her in her debut.

As for Wolf, she is easy on the eyes. Her jawline looks a little questionable, but I'd still smash: https://www.instagram.com/danyellewolf/?hl=en
Wow...

I somehow missed that the UFC announcers would talk about Danyelle Wolf being able to hit the UFC punching machine really hard...

Can't believe they mentioned that dumb shit.

-1000 iq not going for wrestling vs a boxer. surely an amateur shot would be enough to take her down.

Tennant is doing nothing on the feet, and she finally started to go for clinches, but did a poor job at it.

What a bum.
