End of the year meetup (2020)

As 2020 comes to an end...

Nah, I don't feel like typing some sappy shit.

If you guys are interested in a Sherdog meetup in Las Vegas on December 19, 2020 for the last UFC card of the year, post a comment below. If you are worried about the hotel fees like most people are, then I can get a larger room than I usually do (free for you), and we can go old school game tournament style and have a bunch of nerds crash in one room to save money.

Either way, I'll be in Vegas on December 18-23, but I figure now would be a good time for a meetup, before Vegas starts to get expensive again.

Nice! I'm already booked for that weekend, I'll give you a shout closer to that time
 
Something tells me leisurely getaways will be the last thing on this country’s mind at that time.
 
I'll also be in Vegas from November 20-27 for UFC 255.

Lemme know if any of you will be there.

Shit at this point I don't think Vegas would even let me in, being from Wisconsin. I'm pretty sure even our farm animals have Covid here now. It's a dumpster fire, we are back to full lockdown.

I'm about to look for a place. The first 7 fights are on ESPN2, so me and another Sherdogger will watch them in my room, then go to a bar nearby for the last 5 fights.

I'm staying at the Nomad Hotel, which is on top of the Park MGM. What about you?

Sorry bro.. just saw this. I live in Vegas (at least for the next couple of weeks til I get my Thai tourist visa approved). If you swing back the next couple of weeks I'd love to meet up but will hopefully be flying out on Wednesday 12/9.

I'll be back in Vegas for the meetup from December 18-23. So far, there will be 3-4 of us who will be there.

Good luck with that.

I've been waiting to go on vacation with my girl to either Thailand, Vietnam, or the Philippines, but all of the SEA countries require a 14-day quarantine once you land. Thailand also has a strict ban against most Americans from entering their country right now: https://th.usembassy.gov/u-s-citizen-services/covid-19-information/

I'm hoping SEA countries will allow Americans to visit in February or April 2021, which is when I have vacation.

Yeah, I'm prepared for the quarantine.. it'll be well worth it though :)

If anyone else is coming, post in here or send me a PM. We have 3 going for sure, trying to get 1-2 more lazy people to come.

Also, those of you who are going, if you want to talk about fights before we go, let me know. I already have a big bet online, and will add a bigger bet once I get to Vegas.
 
be careful with covid... vegas in the winter with tourists coming in from every which way is pretty much the perfect environment for covid to spread

recommend circa to watch the fights. could book a table/booth and watch in the 3 story sportsbook, or weather permitting book something at stadium swim (rooftop pool with huge screens)
