After rewatching some of his older, more grueling fights, when he was in his absolute prime, ie him being gassed as fuck after r2 versus Kennedy, who Davis is more similar to than any of his recent opponents, I think Davis will stop him.

Better cardio, durable as fuck, natural LHW, Yoel is aging and has an eye injury which is why he couldn't get cleared the first time. I think Phil manhandles a small LHW in Romero.

But we can discuss that in the bellator thread, I don't want to clog up this thread.

No props have been released yet on BAS, but I like the following bets:

• Smith/Spann (I like Smith, but I will live bet him after Round 1.)
• Cutelaba/Clark (I like Clark, but I will live bet him after Round 1.)
• Tsarukyan (I'm waiting for props to get released right before his fight starts. I like ITD and KO/TKO.)

I think I bet the perfect amount on the Pennington fight. I capped her around -220, but Kianzad did better than I expected. Initially, Pennington didn't have the striking edge in the clinch I expected. She only did in rounds 2 and 3 once Pennington's better cardio kicked in. Honestly, I don't think Pennington chose the right game plan (her striking defense is far better, which should have given her a singificant edge in the stand-up), but she clearly won 2 out of 3 rounds and looked better than a -125 in there, so oh well.

Kicking myself for not adding on Smith. I don't like how willing he is to trade blows, but man, I knew he would destroy Spann with leg kicks, had better, cleaner punches, and is much smarter, so that was worth a lot more than 1u.

However, I'm happy I didn't play Whitmire against Goldy, which I was considering. On paper, she should be better, but there were a lot of question marks, so I stayed away, and sure enough, one of those question marks turned into her getting tapped.

As always these days, it's just a matter of whether I have the time to tape or not.

I ended up adding $25 more to Phil's sub line @ +1800, and $15 more @ +1400.

Not a bad night, aside from Jackson/Buys. Buys has a fucking chin.
