Fedor having a great chin is a myth, or he wouldn't have got stanky legged by Fujita, who had never thrown a punch before.
Fujita was good. That punch would've knocked most fighters down.

Fujita had terrible striking.Fujita was good. That punch would've knocked most fighters down.
The biggest haymaker ever seen ever? Are you for real? Seriously.Fujita launched his entire body into the biggest haymaker even seen ever, which Fedor didn't see coming, and he didn't even go down. Doesn't matter if Fujita is a shit striker, that's a fucking devastating strike to land. Fedor was also suplexed directly onto his head and wasn't put out. And ate a LHK from Cro Cop. His chin was pretty fucking ridiculous m8.

No they wouldn't.So? He was huge and probably roided to the gills in PRIDE. He put everything into that punch. Most fighters would've gone down from it.
I think this is more likely the truth. Sure, father time plays a role for everyone, but in Fedor's case he just seemed to lose it mentally at some point which led to a physical decline as well. It just happens with some fighters. A degree of pride and stubbornness probably also factored in, not to mention the business aspects, but imagine a hungry Fedor who moved to the US and trained there right after Pride folded. I think things would have looked different, but who knows?Father time is just part of the excuse.
Refusing to update your game has caught him more than anything else.
god damn it , if wasn't for father time fedor wouldn't have so many loses OVER THE LAST 10 YEARS

Which is completely irrelevant. And yet he came back from that to sub Fujita in brutal fashion. Funny how that works.
Barnett and Reem remained good because they were on PEDs, and Barnett is not good anymore. Every generation thinks the guys from the past are no good. Fedor was as good as there was for many years. That's all you can say. Don't minimize his dominance because he is fighting as an older fighter. Be glad he is still fighting. They just need to give him a lesser opponent to beat on. Don't give him a big tall athletic guy with long arms who packs a punch. He was the GOAT during his unbeaten run, but he's been done for like 6 years now..plenty of his peers like Barnett, Reem, Werdum etc have as much mileage etc but have remained elite because they're better rounded - Fedor lost his explosiveness and speed advantage. Sucks to see him taking L's like this but nobody should be surprised.
