here it is, the coach talk about this fight
but his tone and mindset is too much talk about the gym and the future of the actual fighters that are around

the guy is clueless about what went wrong = his own words
he suggest that the elite JiuJitsu guys he has are enough??? WTF

according to him, they did a lot of ground game,
but they plan to do more(he said the same thing after the Francis defeat)
and for his defense he mention that the losses of
Aldo to Conor and Izzy to Pereira was not due to a lack of boxing
again this guy is always defending his methods

i have a bad feeling that this control freak will not look outside to improve
because he dont mention any top elite HW approach

and the interviewer point out that he failed in 2 title shots, he was in charge with Francis vs Stipe 1

the worst part, is when he take time to answer to negative comments after the fight
he dont take any responsibility about the mindset or the training, he assume people dont understand a think about what was going on

the rest is more defensive stuff against some things he read left and right

I think we know now in hindsight that Francis' "drama" with this guy after his loss to Stipe wasn't really drama at all. It was Francis calling him out for not knowing shit about grappling and Fernand not being able to handle it because he's a narcissist.

Every camp is badass until there's a loss

Let’s say Cyril worked with Greg Jackson, do you think he would’ve won the fight or at the very least been competitive at all?

Training wrestling and BJJ individually won't translate to being tactical in a live fight. Gane had no tactics and no strategy for Jones.

Fernand Lopez is taking massive amount of shit right now for being clueless, incompetent and too obnoxious to be a good trainer.

More and more people in France are saying that Fernand Lopez is the problem... Do not mind "la sueur" they are biased and are friend with Fernand...

Fernand not having Gane eat wrestling, sleep wrestling and breathe wrestling like he claimed, that's his problem.

Sheepcat Ragnarok sleeps all three in a handicap match inside 2.

Firas invited Gane to come train at Tristar for 6 months

The issue is that position Gane got caught with isn't found in BJJ. It's a MMA thing. It's most likely a position he felt he was safe 99 percent of the time in the gym. It's the same thing with bringing in elite wrestlers.

I think it was all Gane's fault, he fought like a fcking scared chicken moving and moving against a guy who is not a power puncher, showed no pride no blood. You can't only blame lopez

C. De Gaulle: "The Germans would never pass through the Ardennes"

F. Lopez: "Gane had enough BJJ and wrestling training"

They are French. Humility is not part of their genetics.
