People tend to compare boxing and MMA because they are combat sports, but they are completely different sports. Boxing has a long history and over time has been able to achieve significant purses, but that doesn't mean anything for the UFC. Ngannou could also make great purses as an F1 driver, basketball player, soccer player... good for him that he managed to make that money in boxing. But each one is right in defending their interests, the UFC and him.

It's a good thing, because if his first 14 fights were in boxing, he wouldn't be making 30 million for two fights. UFC made him famous, and he cashed in. Good for him, but without the UFC he doesn't make that money.

Feel good for Francis that he cashed in with two big Boxing Days. I laugh at all the people on here mention how he had "fumbled the bag" by not signing back with the UFC.
