Allow me to editorialize for a second-

i don't normally believe in conspiracy theories in sports judging but lately the UFC is making me rethink that. At the start of this thread we had Valentina v Grasso on Mexican night and that one seemed hinky as hell.

Today we have a highly controversial outspoken underwhelming record having defensive minded champion losing a toss up fight to a young charisma filled international exciting fighter with a built in story line for a match with another young more exciting international highly promoted superstar that the champ beat. I will go full on tin foil hat wearing anti-UFC F Dana White that whife slapping mound of melting vanilla pudding hating if Sean vs DDP doesn't get run back and they give the shot to Izzy. When I grew up in boxing the saying was "you have to beat the champ" or a close decision always defaulted to the reigning champion. Not so much after ESPN got involved.

I am now also thinking of changing my sherdog name to DDP-Izzy or at least starting a rap career under that name

The defense, ring control and activity versus damage and un-capitalized take downs arguments will ring throughout Sherdog for a while now. We can all enjoy that Sturm und Drang
