Most of the discussion these days seems to be about "so and so said this in an interview"..
"So and so posted this on social media and he responded"..."This happened in the prefight press conference"..."This brawl happened".
Less and less discussion seems to be about the actual fights these days.

And to think that at one time Vince Mcmahon could have bought the UFC at a cheap price but declined. He never knew that social media would arise so we get our 'promos' all the time now through multiple outlets, the only difference is the fights are unscripted.

After the "accidental" seating of the SA scumbag and the 185 champion scumbag so close to each other last might, it's pretty clear it's all just a show.

Mommas, don't let your babies grow up to be UFC fighters.

Been that way for a good while, but is becoming more obvious. Unfortunately, a lot of people need a storyline to be invested. Good fights and good fighters aren’t enough.

Covington getting the TS to begin with is full WWE. What honestly did he bring to this whole thing? Just chat some shit at a press conference and a corny interview with a helicopter while he's Trump's golf caddy? When it came to the actual sport of fighting (lord forbid there's still some of us who actually wanna watch that) Covington completely folded.

Yeah its a fucking circus that loses credibility by the day. Kinda sad to see what an absolute fucking joke it's become.

Yes, its been that way for many years, but now they have merged into TKO it will probably get worse. So much drama and constant talking these days.

Y’all think it was just an “accident” seating Strickland and DDP so close to each other? Yeahhhh right lol.
You are right. The question is, has it become so 'worked' that maybe even Strickland was in on it? The camera angle was setup just right, and even those little downward taps he was doing were like those 'punches' standing on the top turnbuckle by Randy Savage.

Tell me that these two scenes don't look uncannily similar...too similar.

Yea why can't it be more like pride with grand entrances and the fighters had so much personality.

It's always been this way. Settle down. Only things changed is the good weight classes have been destroyed by Usada and more often than not the fights are boring and uneventful

Because the UFC isn't about the fights or the fighters, it's about Dana White's ego. Nothing is bigger or more powerful or more petty or nasty.

I think Strickland was in on it, maybe DDP too lol. If this wasn’t a set up then I would think there’d be some consequence for strickland, maybe an assault charge. But Strickland knew he wasn’t getting in trouble for this because it was setup.
