Also we do have fighters posting here. Tim Witherspoon posts in the boxing forum. I kind of think if the fighters want to play along with the trash talk it should be up to them.

I have no idea tbh. There were many more fighters posting on here back then, so it doesn't seem outlandish to think that might be it.

You still don't see much swearing or profanity. I know I've probably slipped up here and there with that rule, but generally I don't see much profanity.

The fighter bashing has gotten out of hand. It went from barely being able to say factual things that were unflattering to being allowed to say whatever you want about any aspect of anyone's life, character, family, faith, income, etc...

This happened long before I became a mod here. I was actually an admin on another offshoot that started around that time. Along with the porn I spammed the sites banner too.

It was definitely a cesspool of nonsense. I must say though, some of the greatest laughs I've ever had. The absurdity was over the top. There was halfway serious stuff and a decent off-topic but ultimately anything went, anywhere, lol.
