How come I click the title of a thread and it takes me to the 2nd page

It seems the site caches your last read page of a thread


Any way to turn this off and default to page 1?

Any to shut this off, my friend also uses my account and regardless, if I click any thread I just want to go to page 1

I think it jumps to the last page unless you specifically press page 1. iPad sometimes makes the other page numbers clickable upon clicking the thread.

No other users have reported the issue and I tried to replicate it on 3 iPads, 2 iPhones, a PC and a MacBook

Does it do it on a new thread you have not visited?

This happens to me all the time, but I always believe it was by design.

First time I click on a thread - it goes to the first page.
Then if I close it and click again, it will go to the second page, because it assumes I already read all the first page

It's annoying tbh.
