And please, PLEASE name a legendary MMA fighter that fought 0 fighters from the next generation after his. PLEASE find one. Not Fedor, not BJ, not GSP, not Anderson, not Jones, not DC... they all fought the past, current, and the next generation. Except for Khabib.

Khabib didn't fight half the LW division, the BJJ and wrestling part, and he sure as shit didn't fight any young talent.

Wonder how conor would have done if he didn't cherry pick strikers at 145

Would liked to see him fight edgar, lamas and Mendes with a full camp

He would have at least one loss imo
 
Khabib would destroy him in the feet or submit him with a variety of subs on the ground, the skill level difference is too high

My favorite one was Cub, you forgot about that one. That would've been fun.

Too bad he missed Volkanovski.

I think Volkanovski at FW would've smashed him.

Who had Al beaten? Go check his page. Diego Sanchez.... before that, 2 years away from MMA. So he had a win over Diego in a 3 year span.... that's your resume ?

And Khabib earns an interim for beating someone that hadn't fought for a year, last fight was Diego Sanchez and before that another 2 years of not fighting ?

So Diego Sanchez in 3 years ? And you beat him and you're interim champ ?

Barboza was ranked higher than Khabib when they fought. Horcher was a replacement. MJ was a weird one because he should have been fighting for the title that night but Dana was only using him as leverage to make Eddie fight Conor for peanuts.
 
hard to call. either hughes manages to ragdoll him, or gets picked apart badly on the feet. IMO no one takes khabib down, even after a country breakfast, i think khabib takes it.
 
Khabib would wreck him. His overall grappling is far superior to Hughes, and his striking is better too. Lol at using a roided Tibau against a young Khabib at LW as a reason why Hughes would win.

Barboza was on a 3 fight win streak over Pettis, Gilbert and Dariush.. that's what got him the matchup vs Khabib.

Johnson had just knocked out Poirier..

At least have some idea of the reasoning to why these fights were booked at the time before spouting nonsense.
 
Impossible to tell for sure as they are different weight classes and era and neither fights out of their weight class BUT Hughes has been beaten twice by a LW (BJ) and Khabib is absolutely destroying all LW currently so that does imply....
