Media Iconic TUF moments: BJ/ Wang

Nothing beats Gabe Reudiger's "Put me back in, B!" moment on TUF, though. That was one of the most unintentionally hilarious things I have ever seen.

There's actually a clip in the final episode where Andy Wang approached BJ and they hugged it out and said that there's no hard feelings with all that's happened. It was brief but very nice to see. Andy Wang showed his character, and that he's a nice guy despite the show pertaining him as a hardheaded crybaby.

im happy you exposed yourself to the Wang.
in all seriousness i do kinda feel bad for the dude. yeah he did something stupid on TV and it was definitely not a good look to cry about it, but its damn near 20 years later. temporary fame really doesnt let people die, so to speak
People sign up to get put under that white hot spotlight because they want the fame... but anything you do with the world watching, the world is going to see, and in this day and age, it is going to remember.

It is pretty fucked up that people are identified for life with something that may not have occurred at their best moment, but that is very much the world we live in and a very real consequence of the "reality TV" game.

It's funny how Andy seems to have went on to have a good life and now BJ is.... well.....

Haha good times. For those who wondered what happened to him he is focusing on teaching in schools these days

A few more things most people don’t know about Wang: He’s a teacher. Like, a real, actual school teacher. He has degrees in history and political science from University of Hawaii at Manoa. Originally from Taiwan, his parents moved to the U.S. when he was just a baby. He’s a legit BJJ black belt under Egan Inoue, and coached and trained extensively in Hawaii and Southern California, earning a reputation as a loyal and steadfast partner.

“This guy,” Danzig said, “he used to do substitute teaching work at high schools and junior highs throughout LA, and then he would drive through the rush hour traffic on his motorcycle, show up with his shirt and tie on, and walk right in, not even warm up, just get his gloves on and start sparring to help whoever needed a fight. He was always there.”
Good for him, kinda fucked that a guy like that will mostly be remembered for crying on TV and getting mocked after losing a fight but he did overdo it a little bit tbf.
