Hooker was in the top-10, Volk the FW Champion x2, Oliveira was the Champion, Poirier is #4.

5 ranked wins against top-10, assuming he beats Poirier and reaches 14 consecutive wins. Even if you remove Volk it's still three, next time when you lie, try to do it on something that is hard to verify, if you want to get away with it.

Volk isn't ranked at lightweight. A good win but doesn't count as a ranked win. For comparison he has a less impressive resume than Jan Blachowicz, who also beat the champ a division lower (Jan has 3 top 10 wins plus Izzy)

If Islam gets past Poirier, Arman, and Gamrot, Gaethje will probably be in the title picture again.

He should honestly try to rematch Oliviera since they're both coming off losses. It'd instantly put him back into the title picture if he wins.

I think Arman and even Oliviera are tougher fights. Oliveira caught Arman in 2 really tight chokes and another in the end of the 2nd rd that could have been bad. Gaethje can hit hard but has no ground game.

Dustin only has a lucky punchers chance. Arman is well rounded enough so hes the last hope for Makhachev haters. Leon will get finished on the ground. Realisitically, there are no real threats stopping him from defending 2x and moving up to get the WW belt and retiring as a double champ.

I think his wrestling is the most elite comparative to the rest of the division vs Islam. Gaethje obviously doesn't use his, nor does Chandler, and Do Bronx proved it was easy for Islam to control positions, whereas the first fight with Islam and Arman, the scrambles were quite competitive, and that was his first fight in the UFC, so you're assuming he wouldve improved a lot.

My biggest concern for Arman vs Islam would be his gas tank

It probably is better than the other top LWs, but not better than Islam's, and he's more reliant on it than Islam. If they canceled each other out in wrestling, Islam wins the striking pretty easily, but they don't even cancel each other out, Islam is better there too. IMO, Poirier actually has a better chance than Arman because he at least is as good or better than Islam in 1 area and knows what he needs to do.

Arman is very dangerous for any opponent.
If these guys are looking past Ole Dustin, hopefully they'll be in for a surprise. We're in for that solid stepping right, not the damn guillotine.
